Matt Morgan, a personal injury attorney based in Orlando, Fla., has been retained by three fans who were hit by debris from the last-lap Nationwide Series accident Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.
Pieces of Kyle Larson’s car rained into the stands after the car became airborne and slammed into the catchfence. A tire with suspension pieces attached was among the flying debris.
Morgan said he hopes to reach a settlement and avoid litigation.
“Many times these type of matters will resolve out of court,” Morgan said. “The parties involved will get around a table and come out with an amount which fairly and accurately compensates the injured parties for what they have been through and what they will go through in the future.” (SportingNews)
