“(They said), ‘Hey Christmas, do you want to come play with NASCAR(s) for a day,’” the Michael Waltrip Racing crewman says. “Being in the spirit of kind of intense things, I said yes.”
Abbott, who is hoping to become NASCAR’s first female crewman to go over the wall on a weekly basis, told HBO she was hooked the first time she used an air gun to change tires.
“As soon as they put the air gun in my hand ... I knew that that was something I wanted to play with. I want that toy,” she said. (SportingNews)
