Jeff Foxworthy, comedian and host of television’s The American Bible Challenge and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth-Grader appears at a dinner Friday, March 15 at Bristol Motor Speedway to benefit the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
Foxworthy is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, a best-selling author and TV star.
His name also just happens to be the headliner on the marquee of the March 16 Nationwide Series race – the Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300 — at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The dinner takes place at 7 p.m. in the third-floor banquet room at the Bruton Smith Building at BMS.
Cost for a table for the event is $1,200 and $125 per person. For more information, contact Betsy Holleman at 423-989-6975 orbetsy@bristolmotorspeedway.com.
All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, a non-profit organization which has raised in excess of $7 million for children’s agencies in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia over the last 15 years.
Great seats still are available for Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300 starting at just $35. Seats for children 15-and-under are half price of the corresponding adult tickets. Weekend packages for Saturday’s races and Sunday’s Food City 500 also are available starting at $99. Season tickets, which include both Sprint Cup races and both Nationwide events, also may be purchased starting at just $175.
