Five of the seven injured fans taken to Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Fla., following Saturday's horrific Nationwide Series crash have been released from the hospital.
The two that remain are in stable condition, a hospital spokesperson told ESPN.com on Thursday.
At least 28 fans were injured by debris when Kyle Larson's car went airborne into the catch fence on the last lap of the Nationwide opener at Daytona International Speedway. Fourteen were treated and released at the track.
The most serious of the injured were transported to Halifax Health. Two were listed in critical condition, one life-threatening with head trauma, upon arrival. They remain hospitalized. (ESPN)
