Kyle and Samantha Busch were honored with the Community Leadership Award from the National Meningitis Association (NMA) for their outstanding commitment to the health and well-being of children through their charity, the Kyle Busch Foundation.
Hosted at the New York Athletic Club, the annual NMA “Give Kids a Shot” Gala brought out hundreds of supporters and also included a silent auction, dinner and dancing, in addition to the awards given to the handful of honorees through several categories supporting the NMA’s efforts.
“Kyle and I are so blessed to be in the position to help others, especially children who have faced unfortunate circumstances and deserve to have the same basic needs and experiences as every other child,” said Samantha Busch, executive director of the Kyle Busch Foundation. “That’s the honor in itself. It was wonderful though to be recognized by such a significant organization, like the NMA, and to meet so many amazing people who work so hard to prevent such a devastating disease."
